I knew this was my last show from the opening notes of Unbroken Chain. My head was spinning when the couple in front of me turned around to ask what song
...
it was. I managed to speak but I could do little more than eyeball the hole in the clouds that opened up directly over the stadium for the sound to go. After the show I was too lost to find my friends. Still amazed to this day at the kindness of strangers I met along the way. I found my friends reclining in the last car left in the vast parking lot. Thanks for waiting for me!
Four months later, in tears, I smashed my guitar against the concrete. Long live the Grateful Dead.

This was also my last time seeing Jerry, RIP. Best Loose Lucy I think I ever heard. This was back in the days I was still using Usenet news groups and
...
requested via the newsgroups that they play Saint of Circumstance. I don't know if someone read it but I was happy when they played it. While I wasn't tripping, the drum solo (and sound system) was amazing too. I remember feeling like the drums was being generated in the middle of my brain. Unforgettable, as the Dead in general is.

This too was my last show with Jerry, of course I didn't know that at the time. It was also my first Black Crowes show. Since then, the Crowes have become
...
one of my favorite bands too..its too bad they are now on an indefinite hiatus.

This was my last GD show w/ Jerry. It just happened to be the best tickets that I ever got. 7th row in front of Jerry. Hard to believe it was over 14 yrs.
...
ago. I remember dancing my ass off the entire show and a rockin version of 'Eyes' and 'Corrina'. All-around great time! Cops shut down the farm or whatever the hell it was we were stayin at when we tried to return after the show. Ended up at some hotel off the highway with a bunch of others. Those were the days.....;)
